    Bauchi State Governor Donates N5m Cash to Poly Mosque.

    The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar has donated in cash the sum of Five Million Naira (N5M) for the ongoing construction of Federal Polytechnic Bauchi’s Juma’at Mosque.
    Presenting the donation on behalf of the Executive Governor, a Permanent Secretary at the Government House Bauchi, Alhaji Baba Ahmed Zalanga,


    said the donation was in line with Governor Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar led government’s resolved to touch the lives of all and sundry by rendering assistance whenever the need arises.
    He said the Governor chose to give the donation now in view of the multiple reward one stands to gain in this last ten days of holy month of Ramadan, pledging that the government will continue to support good causes to ensure peace and development in the state.
    The Governor enjoined citizens in the state to keep-on praying for President Muhammad Buhari’s quick recovery, the country and Bauchi state in order to continue to enjoy the dividends of good governance the country deserves.
    Receiving the cash donation on behalf of the Mosque Steering Committee and the entire Polytechnic Muslim Community, the Rector of the Polytechnic, Engr. Dr. Shuaibu Musa, expressed appreciation for the gesture extended to the institution by the State Governor and prayed to Allah to give the Governor direction to carry-on the affairs of the state on the path of peace and development.
    The Rector urged, in the spirit of the month of Ramadan, the citizens of the state to continue to pray for the Governor for him to take the state to greater heights.
    Dr. Musa also, charged the members of the Mosque Steering Committee to make judicious use of the donation and ensure that it is channeled in the direction it was intended.
    Expressing the Committee’s appreciation, the Deputy Rector of the Polytechnic and a member of the Mosque Committee, Arc. Sunusi Waziri Gumau, promised to use the fund judiciously with a view of completing some of the major structural facililties.
