    The GOVERNOR of plateau state SIMON LALONG has confirmed that two persons died and several persons injured in the violence that erupted in Jos, Plateau state on the 14th of September 2017.

    the violent erupted after a disagreement over the operation python dance in ABIA that led to tension between soldiers and some members of the indigenous people of biafra { IPOB}.

     
    premium times report that the Governor of the state met with community and religious leader where he confirmed the death of those people during the violence that erupted.

    Governor Simon lalong speaking with the community and religious leaders he said
    '' they must ensure and maintain peace in their domains and they should also talk to the youth not to take laws in to their hands.

    the Governor also called the attention of the residents of the state irrespective of religion, ethnic or economic status to keep calm and promising them maximum security over lives and properties within the state

    The Governor has directed an immediate imposition  of curfew from 6am - 6pm until further notice, 'Mr. Nanle said.
